Everyone is excited to attend a surprise performance by the enthralling magical scarabs. The town turns out to enjoy the show, including a bundle of annoying non magicals. They just won't take the hint and leave.

The partying continues through the night, resulting in the formidable Old Mother Splinter almost drowning. The next day, everyone is shocked to learn she died at the hospital, and what appears to be a tragic accident gets serious when a lethal sleep spell is discovered in her system.
